1. La votación y el registro del Cosplay Showcase comienzan el viernes a las 12 pm, el sábado a las 9 am y el domingo a las 9 am.

2. Al registrarte para participar, aceptas cumplir todas las reglas del PR Comic Con Cosplay Showcase. Estas reglas cubren el comportamiento, los disfraces, los accesorios y los procedimientos de votación.

3. Para participar, debes registrarte en el Info Booth con tu nombre completo y el nombre del personaje del que estás haciendo cosplay. Los participantes recibirán un sticker con un número del equipo de Info Booth, que deben colocarse en algún lado de su cuerpo/disfraz. También tenemos lanyards disponibles para participantes que no pueden alterar su disfraz para usar el sticker numerado.

4. Los cosplayers pueden participar si llevan puesto un disfraz, ya sea hecho a mano o comprado. No aceptaremos participantes que lleven ropa normal o solo accesorios como los componentes principales de su disfraz.

5. Para evitar cualquier ventaja o conflicto de intereses, los Exhibidores y cualquier miembro del personal de PRCC no están permitidos de participar como participantes (para los premios de mejor disfraz). Solo pueden desfilar por el escenario para mostrar sus disfraces en el Cosplay Showcase.

6. Los disfraces deben ser adecuados para toda la familia, y no se permiten materiales explícitos u ofensivos. Los props que puedan causar daño a otros serán verificados por nuestro equipo de Prop Check cuando ingreses al Centro de Convenciones. El equipo decidirá si el prop puede ser permitido o no en el Exhibit Hall.

7. Si tu prop no es permitido dentro del Exhibit Hall durante las horas del show, puedes pedirle al equipo de Prop Check que lo guarden en su booth. Al guardar el prop, te darán un boleto numerado. Guárdalo en un lugar seguro, ya que es la única forma de recuperarlo al final del día o para el Cosplay Showcase.

8. Puedes recuperar tu prop en Prop Check antes de que termine el evento si planificas desfilar por el escenario en el Cosplay Showcase.

9. IMPORTANTE: Si deseas regresar al Exhibit Hall después de asistir al Cosplay Showcase, debes entregar tu prop en Prop Check para que pueda ser almacenado nuevamente. No puedes ingresar al evento con un prop que haya sido considerado peligroso para el público por nuestros expertos. El equipo de Prop Check y PRCC no son responsables de los accesorios dañados y no reembolsarán ningún artículo dañado. El almacenamiento se ofrece como cortesía. Si deseas mantener seguro tu prop, puedes almacenarlo en tu automóvil. No contamos con otras instalaciones de almacenamiento para cosplayers en nuestro evento.

10. Los participantes deben ser respetuosos con otros asistentes. Los participantes pueden caminar por el Exhibit Hall e interactuar con los asistentes para recolectar votos.

11. Los participantes no están permitidos de alterar o interferir con el proceso de votación. La interferencia se puede definir como manipulación, coerción o forzar a la gente a votar en el Info Booth.

12. Los cosplayers no están permitidos de solicitar pago o cualquier otra forma de compensación a las personas que desean tomarse una foto con ellos. Cualquier cosplayer que solicite pago puede ser descalificado del concurso y/o ser removido del evento.

13. Los asistentes con 1Day Pass solo pueden votar una vez al día.

14. Los asistentes con 3Day Pass pueden votar una vez al día, los tres días del evento.

15. Los cosplayers pueden participar en el Cosplay Showcase todos los días del evento.

16. Los cosplayers solo pueden ganar una vez durante el fin de semana. Por ejemplo, si ganas el Cosplay Showcase del viernes, solo puedes participar desfilando por el escenario el sábado y el domingo, pero todos los votos que gane tu disfraz no se contarán. ¡Esto es para que todos nuestros fans tengan una oportunidad justa de ganar premios!

17. La votación se realiza en el Info Booth del PRCC, que se encuentra cerca de las puertas de entrada del Exhibit Hall (detrás del booth de Prop Check).

18. Para votar, pide una boleta a nuestro staff. Escribe el número del cosplayer que deseas votar y deposita la boleta en la urna designada. El personal del PRCC confirmará que votaste marcando tu wristband (para los asistentes con 1Day Pass) o tu badge (para los asistentes con 3Day Pass).

19. El proceso de votación cerrará viernes a las 5:00 pm; sábado y domingo a las 3:00 pm. Así el personal del PRCC puede contar y validar todos los votos a tiempo. El ganador se anunciará después de que los participantes hayan desfilado por el escenario en el Cosplay Showcase, que se llevará a cabo el viernes a las 6:00 pm, el sábado a las 7:00 pm y el domingo a las 4:00 pm. Todos los horarios están sujetos a cambios en cualquier momento.

20. Hay 10 ganadores por día del evento, 1 de los cuales ganará el premio Best in Show. El concursante de Best in Show es aquel que recibió la mayoría de los votos.

21. Todos los ganadores deben estar presentes en el Cosplay Showcase para reclamar el premio. Si un ganador no está presente para reclamar el premio, el siguiente concursante que recibió la mayoría de los votos será el ganador, y así sucesivamente.

22. Los premios no son anunciados por la producción de PRCC y varían según el año.

23. Nuestros resultados de votación son finales y no se aceptarán disputas.

24. Los participantes del Cosplay Showcase y el público que vota deben comportarse de manera respetuosa y cortés hacia otros asistentes y staff del evento en todo momento. Cualquier comportamiento inapropiado u ofensivo, incluyendo pero no limitado a acoso, bullying o discriminación, no será tolerado y puede resultar en la descalificación del Cosplay Showcase y/o la expulsión de las instalaciones del evento. Esta regla está de acuerdo con nuestras Políticas del Evento, que se publican en nuestro sitio web oficial.

25. Los organizadores se reservan el derecho de descalificar a cualquier participante que se encuentre rompiendo las reglas. Esta decisión será tomada por la producción y será final.

26. Los participantes son responsables de sus pertenencias, incluyendo cualquier adorno o disfraz, y deben asegurarse de no crear peligros de tropiezo u otros peligros de seguridad en el Exhibit Hall y/o en cualquier otra ubicación dentro y fuera del Centro de Convenciones.

cosplay showcase rules + information

1. The Cosplay Showcase Voting and Registration begins Friday at 12pm, Saturday at 9am, and Sunday at 9am.

2. By registering to participate, you agree to abide by all the rules of the PR Comic Con Cosplay Showcase. These rules cover behavior, costumes, props, and voting procedures.

3. To participate, you must register at the Info Booth with your full name and the name of the character you are cosplaying as. Participants will be given a number by the Info Booth team, which must be placed on their bodies with a sticker. We also have plastic lanyards available for contestants who can't alter their cosplay to wear the numbered sticker.

4. Cosplayers are allowed to participate if they are wearing a costume, whether it is handmade or purchased. We will not accept participants wearing regular clothes or just accessories as the primary components of their costume.

5. To avoid any advantages or conflicts of interest, Exhibitors and any of the PRCC Staff are not allowed to participate as a contestant (for the best-in-show prizes). They can only walk the stage to show off their costumes at the Cosplay Showcase.

6. Costumes must be family-friendly, and no explicit or offensive material is allowed. Props that may cause harm to others will undergo verification by our Prop Check team when you enter the venue. The team will decide whether the prop can be allowed inside the Exhibit Hall or not.

7. If your prop is not allowed inside the venue during show hours, you can ask the Prop Check team to store it in their booth. As they store it, they will give you a numbered ticket. Keep this safe, as it is the only way to retrieve it at the end of the day or for the Cosplay Showcase.

8. You can retrieve your prop at Prop Check before the show ends if you plan to walk the stage at the Cosplay Showcase.

9. IMPORTANT: If you plan to return to the Exhibit Hall after attending the Cosplay Showcase, you must turn in your prop at Prop Check so that it can be stored again. You cannot enter the venue with a prop that has been deemed dangerous to the public by our experts. The Prop Check team and the PRCC are not responsible for damaged props and will not reimburse any damaged items. Storage is offered as a courtesy. If you want to keep your prop safe, you can store it inside your car. We do not have any other storage facilities for cosplay contestants at our show.

10. Participants must be respectful to other attendees. Participants are encouraged to walk around the exhibit hall and interact with attendees to collect votes.

11. Participants are not allowed to tamper with or interfere with the voting process. Interfering can be defined as manipulation, coercion, or forcing people to vote at the Info Booth.

12. Cosplayers are not allowed to request payment or any other form of compensation from individuals who wish to take a picture with them. Any cosplayer found soliciting payment may be disqualified from the contest and/or asked to leave the event premises.

13. 1Day Pass attendees can vote only once per day.

14. Voting by 3-Day Pass attendees can be done once per day, on all three days of the show.

15. Cosplayers can participate in the Cosplay Showcase on all days of the show.

16. Cosplayers can only win one time during the weekend. For example, if you win the Friday Cosplay Showcase, you can participate on Saturday and Sunday only by walking the stage, but all votes that your costume wins will not be counted. This is so that all our fans have a fair chance to win prizes!

17. Voting is done at the PRCC Info Booth, which is located near the entrance doors of the Exhibit Hall (behind the Prop Check Booth).

18. To vote, please request a ballot from our staff. Write the number of the cosplayer you want to vote for and deposit the ballot in the designated ballot box. The PRCC Staff will confirm that you voted by marking your wristband (for 1Day Pass attendees) or your Badge (for 3Day Pass attendees).

19. The voting process will close Friday at 5:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 pm. This way the PRCC Staff can count and validate all votes with time. The winner will be announced after participants have walked the stage at Cosplay Showcase, which will be held on Friday at 6:00 pm, Saturday at 7:00 pm, and Sunday at 4:00 pm. All hours are subject to change at any time.

20. There are 10 winners for each day of the show, 1 of whom will win the Best in Show Prize. The Best in Show contestant is the one that received the majority of votes.

21. All winners must be present at the Cosplay Showcase to claim the prize. If a winner is not present to claim the prize, the next contestant who received the majority of votes will be the winner, and so forth.

22. Prizes are not announced by the PRCC production and will vary depending on the year.

23. Our voting results are final, and no disputes will be entertained.

24. Cosplay Showcase Participants and the voting public are expected to behave in a respectful and courteous manner towards other attendees and event staff at all times. Any inappropriate or offensive behavior, including but not limited to harassment, bullying, or discrimination, will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification from the Cosplay Showcase and/or removal from the event premises. This rule is in accordance with our Event Policies, which are published on our official website.

25. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant found breaking the rules. This decision will be made by the production and will be final.

26. Participants are responsible for their belongings, including any props or costumes, and must ensure that they do not create any tripping hazards or other safety hazards in the exhibit hall and/or any other location inside and outside the Convention Center.

27. The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the rules at any time without prior notice.
